Very Basic Automation - Newbie Question

Hi all

I'm new to the world of trading and automation and looking for a bit of help! I'm trying to automate a basic in-play football trade, sometimes it triggers and other times it doesn't....

What I want it to do is place a bet in-play at a certain time and then at a later stage place a lay bet. Sometimes the second bet (to lay) triggers other times it doesn't, I guess the market must have suspended or something.

Is there a way to ensure the second bet gets placed? I don't want to rearm the lay bet incase it places multiple bets in the market?

Any thoughts would be gratefully received

A common source of bets not getting placed is the Guardian refresh rate. i.e. Guardian was not looking at your event during the window that you wanted to place your second bet.

Regarding multiple bets, you can use conditions like
Number of Place Bets
Number/value of matched Bets
Number/value of unmatched Bets
Net stake
etc

...to help you manage that

Thanks Anbell, I will do a bit of trial and error on the conditions. I tend to find when I start adding conditions then nothing triggers
