How Do I Choose An Open Position?

Lay Strategy - What do I have to do to leave the 'position' open so it selects whatever position hits my criteria first?

Your question is a bit vague, do you mean take some trades in-play then cancel some when one is matched?

The thing is, I want to (somehow) keep it fluid, so that the 'Lay' bet will trigger/fill on whoever triggers that trade. I don't want to set the trigger on the fav, or on a specific selection.

Example: trigger 'Lay' bet @ 10 - when lay bet is > (greater) than 9.5 and the back price is < (smaller) than 12.

But obviously, I don't want to pick those parameters for a specific dog, or position, I want to keep it open for whichever dog triggers those parameters first. I don't want to pin it down for the 'Favourite' or for a particular selection ... like trap 3 ... I want to keep things open to all traps/dogs.

OK i see what you mean now, in the BF version you'd use apply to 'ANY' selection but there isn't the same option in Betdaq

All you can do is create the same rule applying each one to a Betdaq row number

Then add a 'cancel all unmatched bets on market' rule with a 'number of matched bets' condition on market is greater than 0

I'll see what I can do, but at the moment my trades aren't being triggered. I guess the parameters I'm setting are too tight.
