Using Free Version - Betdaq

So just for a test I set up a simple trade to trigger a back bet for fav over 3.00 @ 5 mins out, and to green up 5 secs before event start.

General

rule type - Place Back Bet
relative to event start time - before event start time: 5 mins
allow trigger - 1 times
applies to selection in position 1 (sorted in order of favouritism)


Parameters

place at - best market price
fixed amount - £1
Global setting - none


Conditions

the market is not in-play
back price of selection in sorted position - Selection 'Nominated' - back price (greater than) 3.00


New Rule:

Green


General

rule type - green all selections
rule trigger time - relative to event start time - before start time event: 5 secs

Parameters - (message reads) No parameters required

Conditions - The market is NOT in-play



Nothing triggering even though the price is above 3.00

Just for example, the 'Automation' tab at the bottom is showing that the trade for the 12:00 was last triggered @ 12:04:17, but nothing in the matched or unmatched column ... it's still at 0

How long is your back bet rule armed for and do you have Guardian refreshing the markets fast enough to allow them to trigger?

The back bet is set to come on at 5 mins to post, and to green 5 secs to post.

Green is working, but the 'Back Bet' isn't!

in the meantime, I'm having to trade manually, and I've just realised that the Greening Automation is working, but the 'Back Bet' isn't for some reason.

Greening is set to trigger 5 secs before post, and that's working fine!

Everything looks fine from what I can see in those images so no reason why its shouldn't trigger.

The only things it can now be is the 'Fixed odds conditions' (they were not visible in the images to see if they are set up right)

If they are the next place to look is in Guardian, can you see the times changing in the 'Last Update' column?
Are the start times correct and in line with your PC clock etc?

The green seems to be triggering ok at sometimes, but then it seems to be triggering afterwards on other occasions (if I'm reading it correctly). But it seems clear, that the back bet is triggering some time after 'Post' time

I can see the problem now, your condition is saying the back price of the fav has to be greater than and equal to 3
Both can never be true at the same time, if you remove the equal condition it will start triggering

If you want to test the price is 3 or greater just use
Greater than 2.98

Thanks, It's working.

As soon as I deleted the 'Equal To' in Conditions section, ... and then hit the 'Save' button, I heard it trigger on the ladder!

I've done the same with another Automation for Soccer, so I'll adjust and hopefully, it'll now trigger.

Remind me to buy you a Ferrari when the time comes

Horses are fine! Now all I have to do is to find out why the Football trades aren't firing.

As for 'Rows' because I'm using Betdaq, I've had to set the same rule for each of the three rows

You have each rule armed from 00:00:00 to 00:00:00

I'd guess these are meant to be armed all match so they can trigger when a selection gets to that price
