Hi All,
Wondering if there is a bit of automation already created or someone can point me in the right direction of how to do so??
I am looking to see if there is a way to calculate a % chance of a Trade/Bet winning.
I am guessing this can be done by looking at the odds some how? would I use say the Actual SP rule and then try and calculate it from there? or is there another way this can be calculated using Automation? I am guessing there is a stored value or condition that can be used to calculate this.
Ideally I would Like to use this in play if possible?
Looking forward to any ones reply
Thanks in advance?

The current odds are the current probability of that selection winning. So you'd need:
(100/Odds)
For example, if the odds are 4.0 then 100/4 = 25% chance of that selection winning.
That 'assumption' for a choice of a better word is what you need to judge. Is the 4.0 selection correctly priced? You probably already know this so won't ramble on too much but, yeah, that formula will give you a metric for what the market thinks. You create your own 'price' using a unique formula and depending on the difference, you enter your trade.
The odds will flicker like mad in-play so that's something to consider too.

Hi Callum,
I see what your saying.
was Hoping for a rule or Store Valued condition to do the leg work for me...
So I could set the threshold say to Back or Lay a horse depending on the chances of that Horse winning or losing.. if that makes sense?
But Guess its best to use the odds it self right?
Thanks

The percentages will give you a more usable 0-100 scale than using the raw prices.salmanim140i wrote: ↑Sat Jul 18, 2020 4:42 pmSo I could set the threshold say to Back or Lay a horse depending on the chances of that Horse winning or losing.. if that makes sense?
