Hi,
I placed some backs on a over 2.5 goals market today
later in the game i had the opportunity to cash out.
I was using betangel trader, manual tab
i clicked the green check box, and ticked the trade profit number
this resulted in a lay
it wasn't quite enough clear all the money. looking on the betfair website, 31p remained for cashout, so i clicked cashout.
thought i'd got some nice profit, but then i see both lays (cashouts) were voided on the my account view.
Why would this be? Im not aware the market suspending at that point in time.
looking at the situation again, i'm guessing its because my attempt to cashout wasn't successful (not matched). this wasn't clear from betangel point of view. In fact it doesn't make sense - if it hadn't matched, how could there only be a few pence left for cashout?
but i see on the report it is matched, but voided. so why is that???
Thoroughly confused.
Martin
cashout results in void lays??

Welcome to the world of VAR on Betfair. I'd imagine bets are voided because of a disallowed goal. Was it the Juventus games?
Don't even think about trading football without checking out the latest rules. I don't even know if the link below is up to date.

Betfair seem to be buggering about with the Juventus trades this morning. I just had a chuck of cash wiped off my account that I made on the match last night. Then the MO trades appeared in my matched bets and have gone. Now my Overs trades are showing in matched
same here.
The voided lays have been re-instated, but then my response to the voided lays has also been actioned, meaning a loss to me (ffs)
It can't be right to have both voided some bets last night, and now correct them this morning. One or the other, but not both.
Any recourse?

Seems like they un-voided the voided bets.
Seems like this is in violation of their rules.
Their rules seem to say when there's a dispute they void the bets, and its our responsibility to deal with it.
Therefore, by implication when we deal with it, it's there responsibility to rectify buggering around if they later unvoid the voided bets.
There is no mention of un-voiding in their rules.
I've emailed them....
