As an aside, how does a mere mortal like myself get "many different accounts". It would make building and running different strategies a whole lot easier.
Betfair P&L screen changes
Follows on from recent adjustments to other pgs eg bettinghistory.
Can't see obvious functionality improvements so must be speeding things up internally ?
Imo degrading functionality is commonly a bad practice unless there's obviously too much going on in the old build.
With a design like this I would've at least expected an option to change from displaying 1-20 to 1-50 or 1-100 per page.
You could make a case that serious users can just use .xls which is true but its all pretty naff by 2020 standards not sure if covid got their good coders or what. No publically avail. changelog is dumb given customer reliance in business model and probs not much internal oversight either, although it seems they do document stuff but you only get a hold of it through talking to staff and have only seen it shared when there was an issue.
Not impressed but doesn't impact day to day operations much so no biggie.

Pay f**k loads of commission and get allocated an account manager. If you can't do that, perhaps set up some accounts with relatives. As an aside, how does a mere mortal like myself get "many different accounts". It would make building and running different strategies a whole lot easier.
Haha working on the former, not interested in cheating the system with the latter. I was simply curious about whether you had multiple accounts before they changed the rules and let you keep them, or there is an option to negotiate to get more down the line?Euler wrote: ↑Tue Jul 21, 2020 10:39 amPay f**k loads of commission and get allocated an account manager. I haven't used my second account for years but as far as I know it's still usable. I can't log into it because I've forgotten the password.deestar wrote: ↑Tue Jul 21, 2020 10:50 amHaha working on the former, not interested in cheating the system with the latter. When Betfair started they used to allow you to have multiple accounts. When they changed that, people who already had multiple accounts could keep them. They also invite you to have a master/sub account structure once you reach a certain level (paying PC2 probably)

They removed the API access to my second account when I hadn't used it for a while
They also told me they'd found an account I hadn't used in a while and transferred the funds to my main account as if they were doing me a favour

If you use other accounts to avoid PC, Betfair forensically link them.... And buy a BA licence for each accountand then they find the account activities are related. Wasn't it Liam who got a surprise bill for 40 grand?
But for day to day betting stuff I'm not sure they would be that worried.
Its based ok activity/turnover rather than if your paying PC2ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Tue Jul 21, 2020 2:00 pmWhen Betfair started they used to allow you to have multiple accounts.
