Hi,

I've been looking at my security tab on the BF website and I've noticed that whenever I login to BA it shows as 2 logins for the same time.

Is this normal and if so, can someone explain why please?

The attached image shows what I mean, the logins with 1 time against them is me logging in to the BF site via my browser.

Thanks

SB

Hi Spikey,

If you are using any kind of third party application to place bets (ie Bet Angel and others)then this results in connections to both the Web and API and quite often the duplicates that you see.

Yes this is normal behaviour. The betfair data retrieval aspects of Bet Angel are separate from the bet placement & modification interfaces. Each is given its own login session and is managed separately. This helps ensure bets are processed when betfair is having a 'slow' day - luckily this doesn't happen as often as it used to.

If you were to use one of the hybrid connection modes you'll also see a third login entry in the security tab for Bet Angel's non-API connection.

Thanks for the responses guys :).

I was just a bit concerned that it may have been something malicious, but glad to hear that it is normal and nothing to worry about.

Thanks
