Guys is it possible to use markers to visualise pressure on each selection? Using a concept like the Pressure building scalping bot that Dallas has in the shared files section.

I've been trying to figure it out for days & im now at the point where I've lost all sense of what I'm doing.

Yes that could be done, your basically just substituting the rule that places the scalping bet for one that stores a value which the marker can then use, you then just need another rule to clear stored value when the pressure is no longer there and so it can retrigger next time it builds

Its a good suggestion and use of markers so i'll have a look at putting and example together tomorrow

may i throw a spanner in the works and ask for an additional *feature* in this new ladder marker rule. could the CURRENT and LAST pressure region be highlighted (obviously LAST would be the CURRENT from some xx seconds ago)?? this would allow one to visualise what direction the PRESSURE was oriented towards, thus adding a bit of confidence to the decision process on having the trend confirmed....

These markers are game changers, when Dallas puts this example together, pressure else where that could be helping or not helping a position will be just a colour in the corner of the eye. Imagine checking this over and over without markers, it would take up huge amounts of brain fuel.

How would you want it to work, it could potentially

A, First marker gets set, then clears once pressure has gone, the next time a pressure marker triggers a second marker highlights the previous price (in a different colour), then both clear once pressure goes and rinse and repeat

B, First marker gets set then changes colour once pressure goes, then when a new pressure marker gets set the original one still remains until the pressure goes, when that happens the new one changes colour to replace it, we then wait for another new pressure marker and rinse and repeat

C, The marker automatically changes after 'X' seconds ie, it would fade/deepen in colour over time so you know how long the pressure has been there or how long since it was originally set. Clearing completely if the pressure goes

James, were you initally thinking of marking the best 3 prices of whichever side the pressure was on or a single cell at the front of whichever side the pressure was?

My original idea was to highlight this in the back and lay columns using 3 markers but it doesn't really make a difference, one marker would say the same as 3... i think it was just more visually pleasing to see it with 3.

likewise, C is how i envisioned it happening. as i said, a confirmation almost of a trend, so fading (receding) or deepening (progressing) in tone would be helpful. there are many other nuances, but as an atomic building block, this is (WILL BE!!) very good. ;)
