I bet right to the off, and use TakeSP as a safety.

I trigger TakeSP every 0.2 seconds but a couple of times today the race jumped after placing bets but before triggering TakeSP.

Is there anything wrong with triggering TakeSP every refresh?

Or is there a more elegant solution?

Thanks

I've been using the 'every refresh' option for this purpose with no ill effect. I include a condition to only run if there actually is an open bet.

Thanks again.

I don't think I'll ever be able to look at my logs again. RIP.

Seriously. I looked at Task Manager today on my VPS and the memory was at 98%. And that was before this. Eek.

a worthy suggestion (for the BA dev team) might be to have a section in settings that allows you to select which global events are logged. so you could for example unselect the option to notifiy on bet status changes (i.e. TakeSP, Keep All etc). I know this is purely related to your requirement, but i'm sure many logs get busted when talking about strategies that ping in bets outside best price and only have a fill/kill of less than a second etc (i.e. high frequency fishing). Having the log always on, ironically eventually prevent/hinder such strategies.

I'm sure BA wouldn't allow it, but it would be nice to have an option that switched off logging completely or switched it off on Guardian but continued to trace it out to the local file instead (as currently happens anyway).
