Unable to trade for last 3 days

I have been unable to trade for the last few days. The prices on the exchange are transmitting in a very erratic nature. That's how an exchange works I hear you say sarcastically Seriously though, there is a problem, even the matched amount is not moving gradually higher as it should, instead it is repeatedly showing a higher then lower amount. Also the betfair graph isn't displaying all the matched bets. I used betfair livechat to explain the issue but no joy. The operator said they will place it in queue but could not offer me any basic timeframe and I haven't received an acknowledgement email that it's going to be looked into, so I just have the operators word. I solely trade tennis and typically this has had to happen just before the US Open gets under way. Anyway, does anybody have any thoughts on why I am experiencing this issue?

It seems Betfair's programmers are testing their new code in live mode. The charts aren't working but wasn't aware of problems with traded volume.

I know nobody can answer that. It just feels frustrating, being in the dark and not even being able to speak to Betfair over the phone.

It sounds like your account has been limited.

If you can't see the traded volume and the prices are jumping all over the place, this is most likely the cause.

I'm not using Bet angel, only ever downloaded the basic version which I stopped using last year because they closed my account (excessive data usage). It's always been my intention but my trading profits haven't allowed me to invest in the full version. I was referring to the graph on the betfair website itself though. I haven't received an email from betfair informing me of a restriction. If they have restricted me is there some kind of timeframe for when these are lifted. I mean if they have done that they have effectively as good as closed my account because I can't trade.

I'm a bit confused. If they closed your account how can you trade anyway?

It doesn't matter what software you're using, you'll see the same with any software, not sure about the website. I don't think they automatically lift restrictions, you have to contact them.

They reopened it for me. I had to answer a list of questions before they did though.

Bet Angel offer an option for £0.99p day or £2.97 for the weekend, great value if time/funds are limited.
