I'm sure I've traded Albion and Menangle on Saturday before.
After the gallops.
Sorry, I meant to say at an earlier time.

Randwick was pretty good but I'm out of chips. Best of luck with the rest of the card.
There has been some very early Saturday morning meetings over the last couple of months, both harness and dogs over winter. It might be covid related, not sure I’d seen that before.

Not sure how the pre-race traders have gone, but I've found in-play weak for a Saturday.
Interesting because it's felt like the best Saturday inplay for a while to me..

Maybe just my startegy - or me! It's been OK. I wish everyday was like today, however! Would make Thursdays more enjoyable...

Did anyone happen to catch what price Nature Strip hit when it was about 3L in front of Gytrash? Given how aggressive the in-players have been lately it must have gone close to 1.01.

What is the usual trading volume for your average Auz race? Might dip into it tomorrow morning

Monday's are really poor. So you need to look at Wednesday and Saturdays for the best volume, the latter being the best.

It's not just the avg that's an issue it's also the range. They go from the equiv of a medium sized UK race down to thinking your api has frozen.

Make sure you understand the different terms around Aus and especially NSW racing first. Not just the different commission rates but also the turnover charge which isn't based on profit, it's based on value of bets above a fee-free limit. It's a state tax but Betfair cover it for the first few thousand $s of your bets. Can't remember the limit now but it's in this thread a few pages back, Derek knows all the ins and outs of it.

I posted this back in May to show how Aus vol increased when UK lockdown started. I guess it's back to approx 2019 figures but it's not the sort of thing I look at often.

I don't even look at NZ. Tbh I don't even look at New South Wales. With the size of my edge and only $6000 in bets a week before fees it's more trouble than it's worth.

I'm the same, NZ is pretty much impossible and NSW is good but you can't get much out of the $6000 like Shaun says, and it'll through you off your game when it comes to the other races too as it trades quite differently.
