Betfair Down / Betfair site crash

You may have a virus - I once had a virus that prevented me from getting onto gambling sites.

I can get onto betfair.com without problem.

You might want to try using Explorer if you normally use Firefox, or vice versa.

Not just Betfair, The LSE was out this morning and when it was announced that the UK contraction was worse than first thought!

I logged out and back in again, and I can get in Betfair.

But either my Internet connection is grinding to a virtual halt, or Betfair is running very slowly!

You're not with Virgin Media, are you?

Betfair has been sluggish for me all day, but I don't know whether they or Virgin are to blame.

No BT. It actually froze for at least 6 seconds earlier towards the end of the big race at Kempton earlier so Im pretty sure it was betfair

mine stuck acouple of times for 2 to 3 secs abount 1 min and 3 mins before the off newc 16:25 (adv time).

That's surprising, given that Phil Cohen assured me that 'we are confident that the issues causing Betfair's recent bouts of instability have been identified and dealt with'... :shock:

jeff, i doubt if he would say something like, " we hope so, we think we have, fingers crossed, touch wood". :lol:

it appeared to sort of stall about 10 secs after the off wolves 17:30. not sure if it was real or my imagination.
