Hi Peter
What's I talking about is using my mobile to access my desktop remotely (so I can remotely access some software on my computer that I use to select horses to bet on).
Thanks
Jeff

PS - I've contacted a company called MochaSoft, who sell a RDC program, and they told me that:
'The bandwidth required depends on the PC screens, but I will only recommend using RDP on a WIFI, or with a phone contract with free data. RDP uses a lot of bandwidth, as it send all the PC screen changes to your phone. It can use as much as if you would stream a video'.

Thanks Peter.
I'm considering going down the Wifi route, as that might be the most cost-effective option.
Does anyone here use Wifi, and if so do you find the connection to be as good as a non-Wifi mobile connection?
Thanks
Jeff

I use Mocha RDP lite, but only use it to dip in and out during the day on my ipad if I'm out and about (I'm on the 3 network, think it is 1Gb/Month) and never exceeded it

Thanks Oddstrader.
To clarify, are you with the BT Wifi service? And can you access the service pretty much anywhere?
As BT Wifi is free to BT broadband customers, it might make sense for me to get a pay-as-you-go mobile, and use BT's Wifi for Internet access from it.
