Bob Willis Trophy final, another reminder county cricket red ball is tradeable though not scalpable. Actually on certain games in certain situations it can be scalpabale.

Such a thin market combined with a late Somerset collapse combined with them resuming play after I didn't think that was going to happen really wiped out a lovely position rather quickly and it could have been worse. Feel like I've lost £300 in an hour

Very, very suspicious some of what went on there. Maybe the Indian tv executives had ordered a close game.
It was a real drama by the looks of it but the betting looked dodgy from half-way.

Trap orders happen a lot - I tend t think these people are absolute scum, but Betfair wont intercede - so maybe its just me.
As a result - or at least partially, the mkts are now a shadow of what they were.
The runs mkts are now HUGE on an Indian site.

Are they scum though?
I've seen a Peter Webb video openly showing the power of BA Automation for catching fat fingers!
We've all seen disastrous spikes being matched, purely through human error or a misfiring bot.
I don't see how BF can be expected stop that

At the end of the day it's a free market and previously people sticking up crap prices just encouraged others to price them out until the market hit some reasonable overround for the market makers. Trouble is Betfair decided to take those market makers margains for themselves with the x-matcher so all those wannabe market makers left along with their liquidity and only the chancers remain to price up.
There's just far too many illiquid markets on Betfair these days they should simply drop them.
