This years meeting has become a bit of a farce, the French pissed me off again with what they're doing to Oisin like they have so many other jockeys so can't say I feel for them.

Disappointing to read that, looks like today’s card is going to cut up badly now.

Think Persian King looks a big price at around 16/1, some firms paying 4 places each way still too. Though maybe I’m just being blinded by my love for PCB !

It certainly helps both PK and Enable as on this ground with AOB's pacemakers making sure it's a good gallop they would've ensured it would've been a slog. I imagine now they'll go a slow gallop but I personally found the race too tricky to pick one.

Yeah that’s what I’m hoping. Hoping it doesn’t turn into a slog, and PCB gets him settled (which may prove tricky!). Can see him running a big race if so. 16/1 and 4 places looks big to me, not sure how many more non runners will make place terms change, skybet paying 4 places so long as there are 11 runners I think. WilliamHill and PaddyPower also currently paying 4.

Though as you say it’s a messy race now and hard to be confident about anything in the conditions.

Had a look when at when they had good ground though and most of the times were fast so the standard might be a bit off

Only three meetings today. Is that because of start of winter or covid?
