Has anyone else noticed the spoofer who, every second, keeps offering then withdrawing £5000 one tick from the action?

Let's hope a community-spirited big volume trader gobbles up his 5 grand to stop him being so annoying in future!

Isn't a spoofer and has been going on for a few years now on and off. Got to say I like it.

If it's not a spoofer, it must either be a malfunctioning bot, or someone who's bored and doesn't mind risking thousands of pounds to kill a bit of time!

Looks to me like he is trying to stay at the back of the order queue, but trying to hold up the price to get filled on his most favourable position. A bit bloody obvious though, I may jump in at some point and see what sized balls they have.

I would be very very surprised if it is a malfunctioning bot given that it has been happening for so long as the owner would have seen it and sorted it out a couple of years ago.

TBH their motives really don't bother me, what you need to be bothered about is how YOU can make money out of it, forget about whether or not they make money as it won't help you.

He's just trying to hold the odds in the range he's trading i think.

In a race last week with a short priced favorite there was 400k regularly appearing as soon as it started to drift  .

Each to their own I suppose but I find it confusing and annoying and it affects my trading - trying to ignore it but it's easier said than done.

You flashed your weapon at him and he ran off? ;)
