I raised a support ticket with betangel more than a day ago but no answer. Here is my question: I want to do a Lay bet on a horse at a price of, say 10. The current price is, say, 5. If I enter the Lay bet at a price of 10, I will be filled immediately, but I don’t want that. I want to wait until the price drifts to 10 and then place my Lay bet. How can I enter the Lay bet with betangel at a price of 10 and NOT BE FILLED unless and until the price drifts to 10? I need precise click-by-click instructions from betangel but they do not seem to be forthcoming.
Any help from forum much appreciated.

Cant understand why would you want to lay at 10?? :?
If you lay at 5 your liability is lower

Say £10@ 10 = Liability £90 £10 lay @5 = Liability £40, sounds to me you may have the ladder reversed

agree with alpha, why would you wish to take a larger liability if you dont need to.

if you palce a lay for odds of 10, and the current price is 5, you will be matched at 5. you will always be matched at the best price (odds) available.

I presume this is an in play strategy the logic being the drift, and I presume you want to automate it otherwise you could just press the button when it hits 10, so you need to look at the spreadsheet area and I believe some excel spreadsheets are in the download area.

On the main menu select
Settings > Edit Settings > Automation

Set in Lay Automation Rules
If current odds >= 9 and odds <= 16 and WOM >= 0% Place at 10

save and close

Click on Automation (next to Ladder)
You can now select stake and the checkbox of the horse you want to lay.
The selected horse will be cancelled if the market is suspended so if planning to use inplay you will need to set after the race has started.

If the price moves out too quickly your bet may still not be matched though.

Let me know when you first sent the mail and I will chase up with support. Most emails are answered within few hours so more than a day seems odd.

I've just looked at the support inbox and the first contact with you on this subject seems to have been 8.30pm yesterday evening with a reply sent to you this morning.

Did you send a previous mail to this? It is a concern if emails are going astray or being delayed.

The previous issue raised by you was earlier yesterday but on a different subject and seems to have been solved.
