Hi,
Hoping somebody can help, I'm quite new to the automation side of things.
I'm trying to automate offset bets via guardian and then hedge the profit at a set figure after both the back and lay bet have been triggered.
My problem is as follows...
My back bet goes into the market just before the off, this triggers the lay bet that I keep in running, which is fine.
However, I'm finding on occasions that the lay bet and the hedge are triggering at the same time, which isn't what I want.
So I need to be able to set it so that the hedging rule only triggers after the lay bet has been matched.
Is this possible?
Thank You
Hedging Profit
Hi Dallas, thanks for your prompt response.
I might be missing something, but I can’t see the answer to my problem in that previous post that you have included.
I want my lay bet into into the market as soon as my back bet is matched in full and of course this works fine.
My issue is that I don’t want my hedging condition to trigger until my lay bet has been matched in full.
Otherwise on certain occasions, both my lay bet and my greening condition both get put to the market at the same time.
I need to be able to apply some kind of rule to my greening condition that ensures that it doesn’t apply until the lay bet has been fully matched.
Sorry if I have missed the answer within your reply, could you point me to it if l have.
Many Thanks
Samourai

I’m not no, just standard offset.
What I want is to for the offsetted lay to be matched first before the greening rule then applies.
The logic is that I want to safeguard my stake, which is achieved when the lay is matched, then I have a bet to nothing I suppose.
I then let the race play out a bit more, my selection drops further in price and I then green up as per my auto greening condition which could be set at £5 or whatever.
Does that make sense.

In that case the 'fill/kill' option is still needed as detailed in that original link to prevent the offset triggering until after the opening bet is matched.samourai wrote: ↑Mon Nov 02, 2020 3:41 pmI’m not no, just standard offset.

To delay the green up rule you'll need to put your criteria into a set of conditions.
From you've said if you have the green profit condition already then just adding a 'Amount of matched bets condition' to test the amount of back bets is equal to the amount of lay bet will achieve what you want
