Not often do you see a start to finish lead in a 2 m.

Has anyone ever seen Aiden or Joseph O'Brian exited? He's just one the Melbourne Cup and he sounds as though he's explaining why his horse got beat!

Wow Twilight Payment only hit $1.10? It was clearly going to win at the 100m mark and even the race caller called it home with at least 50 to go.

Anthony Van Dyk broke down and now euthanised.

Very sad.

And unfortunately this race just keeps having horses die and being Australia’s biggest race it is huge media for anti racing activists who will go beserk again.

What is going on with the Melbourne Cup and horses needing to be euthanised?

Derek - What’s the plan for Breeders cup in to last day of Melbourne carnival into Saturday in UK into second day of Breeders cup? Coffee, other stimulation?

Maybe more people were watching it instead of trading. I know I did. It was the only race I didn't trade all day, except when I was out of the house.
