API Lagging fault or software

Can anyone tell me why my BA is running slow on 200ms, I tested both my internet speeds, BT running at 2.3 MB on laptop and its fast up and down ladder, Virgin Media line running at 6.3 Mb but lagging, could it be any other software on my PC causing this, when I put a order in like this I feel its lost before I know I have a trade

you sure there is no virus/trojan in your system?

is there any other software/process running in the background that should not be and/or not required? something stupid like itunes, or updates for things like printers (eg epsom are forever trying take control of my machine to update some crap)

Yes i think it was that software you use to record video from screen Camstudio, it even wiped BA out uninstalling the software. I have minimum programs on my main machine, just office and a few non threating programs that will slow machine down. Had to use my back up machine to trade, felt uneasy using it with no back up should the BT Line go down, will see today how the main trading room works

hi you could open task manager and see where the resources are being utilised?
