BBC 19:00 this evening. Claire Balding is in the hotel next to the cottage I rented this summer. We shared access to the path at the bottom of the garden. Brought back a few memories, makes me want to go back this summer!

It's a very steep hill, you are basically at the bottom of a cliff.

My mum is from the IOW, I took her (81 years old) to visit her her 89 year old in October.

A very nice visit to a place I spent many summers.

IOW isn't a country,

your confusing it with Ireland perhaps.

But Ireland never has the weather, so perhpas you mean Bermuda?

They're a strange bunch on the IOW

I worked in sales for years, and being from Southampton the IOW was always part of my patch.

They have a typical island mentality.

Meant UK in general terms , some of the nicest places are very often on our doorstep.
