First warm day here in North Antarctica.

With Bendigo AWOL with weather it's been a slow start.

I was once in Hobart on quite a humid day in January. Drove up to the lookout on mt Wellington, cold as a witches tit and there was icy sleet.

That sounds about right. I've only attempted to drive up twice, but on both occasions was prevented from going any further than half way up because of snow.

3,850m flat race at MV is something we don't see in Australia very often. Is that 10 laps of the goat track?

As an aside... why would the schdule Newcastle 3 mins after this race's schduled start time? Madness.

It’s just over two laps of the valley. Which only has a 173m straight.
