Has anyone who's lost money from a crash thought of taking Betfair to court?

OK, Betfair can turn around and give the standard t&c argument. But if they judge thinks that those t&c's are unreasonable, or that customers didn't really have a choice about whether to agree to them, then you might win. It all boils down to the opinion of one person, the judge.

And just as banks used to settle overdraft charge claims out of court, for fear of setting a precedent, Betfair might do likewise.

I suspect this guy isn't smiling right now, he probably should be fearing for his job if you ask me.

Hi Folks.

Until there is a concerted stand taken you will just have to put up with rubbish.

They will not take any notice unless you hurt their pockets.

That is all they understand.

A judge has recognised Fred the Shred's right not to be called a banker, so you never know what a judge might think! :)

Joking aside, it has to be worth a try. I'm sure it could be explained to a judge in terms that they'd understand.

i think everyone would agree with that but.
who will organise, how do you get the momentum going, and how would you attack them?

what is your threat to them as a trader.

they dont care about traders, we are of no consequence to them.

Rubbish but scalping pre in play is ok - doing quite well at the mo with very small stakes
