Just looking for confirmation with a basic question.

If I hedge a trade by greening it, does that make the profit concrete and no change to the amount can occur?

Or, if I decide to do another trade on the same horse and then green again, does it adjust the figure?

Cheers

If you back a horse and lay it (in any order), your position, whether it's a profit or loss, will be virtually concrete. If you do another trade on the same horse and green again, that will change the figure, it could go up or down depending on your trade, but once you've greened it will be fixed again.

If horses are later withdrawn they'll affect your green due to any reduction factors, shouldn't be much unless one side of the bet gets a reduction factor but not the other.
