Ladder Reorder Button

That's your opinion which I respect. Everybody has different styles of trading.

The logical thing would be to have the ladders constantly in order of favouritism.

Also, I do in-play trading where I trade the favourite. In order to do this I have to make sure that the first ladder is the favourite and in order to do this I have constantly hit the re-order button..

Alright touchy.... that was my point, if its an option that's available it doesn't matter who does or doesn't want it, because if its an option it would be simply a case of turning it on or off, hence option. If you re-read what I said, it was in line with the topic, so un twist ya pants

What I am requesting is to make the Ladder Reorder button optional by putting a red cross over it similar to the adjacent buttons to the right of it .

I'm still waiting for an option to open all ladders ordered by favouritism as default ...

Does that exist in the software or does it need to be suggested ?

PS if useful for anyone you can stack your shortcuts e.g. have re-order by favouritism AND centre all ladders on the same key; works a charm.

Can't understand why this software does not reorder by favouritism by default.
Especially for in-play traders it is a must

As noted in PS I have those 2 assigned to Space Bar.

My left thumbs always resting on space as that hands always hovering over the cancel shortcuts anyway so pretty much I just hit space after opening new mkt then again intermittently from there.
Def. room for improvement on BA's side if there's not a setting I'm missing as I imagine majority of manual traders are having to do this every mkt.

Is it wise to re-order the ladders automatically? It's like auto-scrolling, handy if you're just watching but can be costly if you're about to click to place a bet when it re-orders, in this case would involve placing a bet on the wrong selection, as well as the wrong part of the ladder.

dont want to reorder automatically once the market is loaded but just have ordered by favouritsm as standard, what pre race trader sorts by saddle number?

Definitely agree eightbo that there is room for improvement on BA's side.

How many manual traders out there are having to make do with shortcuts and work rounds which are not much improvement on the problem

You can't but you can re-post the request under suggestions. The BA team will look at them in between upgrades. Personally I'm not fussed about tapping the 123> button, sometimes I have to do it more than once when the order changes but I think it would be a good idea to auto-sort when you change market.

I've finally figured it out... I thought I was losing it but my Servants are triggered by alt1 alt2 alt3 etc. I've been pressing Enter randomly and its been sorting the ladders out in 123 and centre on the odd occasion. The actual shortcut is alt enter.

You can actually press alt then using you arrow keys move over to global settings or charts and use enter to turn on or off without the need for a mouse. Life is complete.
