Hello all
Just a quick question regarding courtsiding, to get around the issue of being kicked out if you’re caught why can’t you just pay for a place in a private box and bet from there? Anyone tried this does it work? My question relates to football and tennis as I know it goes on and is tolerated in racing but the in play liquidity just isn’t there
Thanks

Someone on hear posted awhile back about being caught betting at a French Tennis match in the stand. He was ejected, arrested, re-arrested in the UK and then investigated by HMRC (Tax Man) and had to explain all withdrawls/deposits from his bank account. I believe he also had his Betfair account suspended and then closed.gstar77 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 10:14 amHello all

Two problems really,
If you get caught you get banned from the venue, apart from racing it seems.
It's turf war so you are not alone and many will be trying their luck and using all sorts of tricks to get an edge.
I've always had this view that a speed advantage can always be lost, or beaten. So I've shyed away from looking at that as an edge. I know plenty who have done it but they all eventually become unstuck at some point.

Since covid and behind closed doors, game suspensions on betfair have been really slow, somtimes after the goal has gone in on the streamilovepizza82 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 10:50 amTried football. DIdnt work out. They are very eager to suspend markets. In other words u wont be faster than them : )
so there probably was a good chance to do something. But getting into the games is then the issue
i expect it to be back to normal when the crowds return

i'm curious, in GB, how can they spot you betting in the stands. if you place yourself on a seat in the middle of the row, not at the ends, surrounded by people etc... how can a steward see you? in a private box i'd imagine that there's a lot more room for officials/staff to walk by, take a peek and catch you.
i went last year pitchsiding at a game. here, nobody seems to know what pitchsiding is. had no problem with the stadium jamming my connection to BF. no steward came at me(or maybe didn't see me). but i couldn't beat the 5s delay.
