Hi I'm confused as to why the automated bet took place when I set the condition to only back the selection if it had a minimum odds of 4/1(5) but yet it backed the bet at 4.2. Please look at the screenshots. I also have another rule that should only back a horse if it has minimum odds of 7/1(8) so greater than 7.

You have to set it to Back price >5Joeyboy2017 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 31, 2020 12:10 amHi I'm confused as to why the automated bet took place when I set the condition to only back the selection if it had a minimum odds of 4/1(5) but yet it backed the bet at 4.2. Fractional odds 4/1 is equal to decimal odds 5
Shouldn't that be >4.9 so as to include 5.0?Trader Pat wrote: ↑Thu Dec 31, 2020 12:30 amYou have to set it to Back price >5Joeyboy2017 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 31, 2020 12:10 amHi I'm confused as to why the automated bet took place when I set the condition to only back the selection if it had a minimum odds of 4/1(5) but yet it backed the bet at 4.2. Okay thanks guys and yes its the "fixed odds condition". I now have it set to be greater than 5 (back price >5) so that only odds of at least 4/1 are backed. With my other rule that had minimum of 7/1(8) for the same condition I have that set as (back price >8).

Joey, as in a previous post, a condition of >5 will not post a bet at 5 ... 5 is not greater than 5! You need >4.9Joeyboy2017 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 31, 2020 7:18 pmOkay thanks guys and yes its the "fixed odds condition". Oh I'm such a newbie/noob. Thanks for that. I have amended my first rule so its greater than 4.9 (back price >4.9) so only minimum of 4/1(5) is backed.firlandsfarm wrote: ↑Fri Jan 01, 2021 9:45 amJoey, as in a previous post, a condition of >5 will not post a bet at 5 ... 5 is not greater than 5! For my second rule which I want to be minimum odds of 7/1(8) it doesn't seem to work like that as they jump in twos. It will not accept 7.9...has to be 7.8. Anyway around this? Not a big deal to be honest as selections for this system at the time I back them will be at least 7/1(8) so even if I amend that rule to be 7.8 (back price >7.8) It's not going to make a significant difference if my selection shortens to 7.9 especially if it wins lol

Joey, I expect you are familiar with things by now and sorry I missed your last post here but just in case ... you need to familiarise yourself with the Bf Ticks bands for Odds. For example between 1.01 and 2.00 the jump is 0.01, between 2.00 and 3.00 they jump by 0.02 and yes at 8 (between 6.00 and 10.00) they jump by 0.20. Just set your condition to >(the next lowest odd)Joeyboy2017 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 11:37 amFor my second rule which I want to be minimum odds of 7/1(8) it doesn't seem to work like that as they jump in twos.
