'Long Run' steamed in to favourite, 'Imperial Commander' on the drift. Not what I was expecting

If Imperial Commander, Midnight Chase or Long run won today I will cash out a nice £2,707.67....finger cross.....good luck all today..ciao

What a fantastic race, great runs from Kauto and Denman particularly on ground that wouldn't have suited him 100%.
Awesome performance from Long Run, let's hope he stays fit and comes back to defend his crown.

Kauto looked knackered, but then he is a gelding isn't he!

My first loss of the day! Had a cheeky punt on kauto star and denman, I don't really have a clue but I enjoyed it either way!

I built up £30 profit on imperial commander then bet £25 on each so only down £20 :)

Cheltenham 2011 has been one if the most enjoyable I have experienced the best Gold Cup since 1986 and some stunning camera work.

I had to work during the Gold Cup race :(
so I had a small punt on Long Run to win with a hedge on Imperial Commander to place. Managed to sneak a peek at the result at work and have just watched a replay. What a terrific race! Helped alleviate my anger at Liverpool last night, lol.

It was a really good day and a great way to end the week. Back to the dross on Monday!

bit of a day of 2 halves for me. Smashed the first half and just sort of went nowhere the 2nd half! Have been ill all week though and probably lost focus after the neurofen plus started wearing off!
