I cant understand pre race trading, I watch all the videos, look at how you read things etc etc, it will go ok, then boom, position goes to loss or if it does go in profit it is only very small.

The markets you see in you tube video seem to move slower or are a little more stable. I have tried waiting for the money to come in and in the last five minutes but does not seem to work for me.

I have a flat automation in play strategy that seems to work ok so far and an at off in play lay for jumps that seems to go ok, but looks like pre race may be not for me so maybe rather than just frustate myself on something that I cant personally get to grips with I should just carry on with the others.

Only issue I have is that there is more risk to capital, which is what made me look at pre race first as there is less risk. Maybe stick to the flat automation and jumps in play for now and give the pre race a rest and regroup on it later.

I would say pre race is anticipating peoples behaviour while managing your own and in running is anticipating horses behaviour both usually come down to the fundamental information that's on offer.

Yup that just about sums it up, thanks.

Trying to anticipate the ladders pre off appears to be harder than anticipating the horses in running for me. Suppose its a case of if it aint broke dont fix it..................

I dropped out early on giving too much away to the market, it wasn't my day. Live to trade another day or whatever the rule is.

Looks like my bot is struggling too, but it does seem to be limiting losses, which is something I probably would be failing to do manually!!

With this new lockdown, you might see another surge in volume.

Thanks Fox, been looking at runner data trying to figure out what has some chance or no chance and some of the favourite positions look out. Non wisdom of the crowd.
