Setting Malbot to monitor 40% drop in SP??

Afternoon all,

Am new to betting bots so have been taking the time to go through and have a look myself.

I have been using a betting system that tells me when a horse has dropped 40% or more since its opening price at the start of the day.

Is there a way of setting up Malbot to do the same? i am paper trading for a while so i can trial and error.

How do i apply a rule so that Malbot will only auto bet a selection that has a 40% drop in the market from its opening price?

You'd need a 'Set/Modify stored Value' rule
Armed to trigger 1 time
applied to every selection

On the Stored value tab store
Store value name (enter any name you want, ie, mover)
Last Traded Price of Selection
with an adjustment of - minus 40%

Then add a 'place back bet' rule (or lay bet
Armed to trigger 1 time
applied to every selection

On the Conditions tab add a 'Stored Value Condition'
Selections last Traded price
is less than last Traded price
of another stored value
(enter whatever you called it above)

As soon as the rule is applied to the market it will store the LTP, then trigger your back/lay rule if it trades 40% lower

Im not sure if ive set it all correctly or not.

I've chosen 'the Back Price of a Selection' in the two screenshots below, this should have been 'the Last Traded Price of a Selection'

The rule trigger times? Is this just up to me? I want the bot to start monitoring from 9am when i open the program and set up certain races for the day.

Then will it automatically place the bet once its found a 40% mover in the market?

Yes you just arm the rule/s for whatever time you want.

If you are leaving your PC unattended make sure you also disable sleep/hibernation mode so that you maintain an active connection with Betfairs servers at all times
