Hi All
Just like to say how helpful this forum has been, I've been using BetAngel for couple of months now and it really is a fantastic bit of software.
I'm dipping my toe into Automation after concentrating on scalping on the horses past few weeks and I have been trying to come up with a .baf to use on a selected number of football markets. Basically I want to back 0-0 pre match for £2 on the matches I select at example price of 10 and then place a lay bet once price reaches 6 and take profit. Ive looked through the content in the shared files but cant find one this simple. Apologies for what is no doubt a very basic question.
Question on Automation
Hey Graham,
You should be able to do this with just a couple of lines of automation.
1. Place Back Bet
- 'x' seconds before the event starts
- On Row 'x' (assuming 0-0 is Row 1)
- Parameters - Best market price, fixed amount
- Condition (if you want one) - Fixed odds price must be greater than 'x'.
2. Place Lay Bet
- 00:00:01 - 02:00:00 (in play time)
- On row 'x' (assuming 0-0 is Row 1)
- Parameters - up to you if you want to green or just have a free bet on 0-0. Best Market Price, Fixed amount.
- Conditions
a. Matched bets =1 (this will make sure the lay bet only fires if the back bet was placed)
b. Fixed odds condition - price = 6.0
Im sure there are 100 other ways to do this which maybe the more experienced may want to suggest but this is a very crude way of achieving your ask.

Hi Shaun, I have used what you gave me and back and lay back fire in perfectly. One thing I have noticed I have had to manually green up once the lay bet has been placed. Is there any way I can automate the process so I can close the trade off?

I've attached Back 0-0.baf my 0-0 .baf file, be really grateful if someone could tell me where I am going wrong. My back bet seems to get placed twice pre match and my lay bet doesn't seem to get placed at all when the lay odds hit the trigger. Been scratching my head and trying to work out where I have f**ked up.

In that case you will have 2 matched bets then. Therefore the matched bets =1 condition will be false. A workaround might be to use the Greenup command instead of the Lay and the condition, matched bets > 0
Hi to all,
After some help regarding automation.
I want to back a goal (any scoreline after 60 minutes), It could be 0-0, 1-0, 3-0 whatever, how would I go about getting a trade to fire in regardless of the current score?
So for example if the score was 1-1 I would like the bot to fire on the Over 2.5 market, 2-1 the over 3.5 market Etc.
Many thanks.
I think the bits I am struggling with is the signals and stored value aspect of the automation process, it really is double dutch to me!!!
Jim.

Bit of a strange one this is
my automation rule tried to fire a bet into the market at the very same time the market went suspended does anyone know the best way to avoid this going forward or was it just complete fluke
I wanted the bet placed but once triggered that was it
I missed the bet as my automation only fires 1 bet in the market as a straight back

I'd say very unlucky timing and will be very rare, but if you want to safe guard your self you can add another identical to fire 2 secs after the market has gone in play with the following conditionsbeermonsterman wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 9:13 pmBit of a strange one this is
