Google is your friend.
It helps you avoid looking foolish!
Young got a first from Oxford, end of.
As for my education, I have a mere MSc with distinction from Glasgow. How about you?

You may think that being privileged enough to swan into oxbridge is ok.SweetLyrics wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 5:37 pmhttps://www.goodreads.com/quotes/166815 ... rticularly

If you have friends that were academically a year ahead but where rejected by oxbridge, you have a different view of privilege.
A true witch would have to have that view to survive.SweetLyrics wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 5:37 pmhttps://www.goodreads.com/quotes/166815 ... rticularly

Completely irrelevant to the current discussion.
This is not a conversation about equality or class.

WTF has a Nobel prize for chemistry got to do with it, and WTF has the other person in the video who doesn't even speak have to do with the issue??This is the case against lockdowns as succinctly as I can put it.
@YouTube
initially censored it, but when I pointed out the other person in the video is
@MLevitt_NP2013
, joint winner of the 2014 Nobel Prize for Chemistry, they reinstated it.

Ask Toby Young - as I have already said, I'm not his advocat!
Isn't that eggnog?SweetLyrics wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 5:51 pmAsk Toby Young - as I have already said, I'm not his advocat!
He's making unsubstantiated claims, like people looking at the code of the computer models and finding errors. No reference to who or the reports.superfrank wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 5:35 pmProbably just a late developer. He talks about the initial computer models being inaccurate. I can't see the relevance to that. Models are to predict/project the future. We already have that data and know how quickly the virus is spreading. He says the models were more suitable for the flu virus. If you're calculating how quickly a virus is spreading it shouldn't matter what virus it is - it's the maths you've got to get right. There was absolutely nothing succinct about it.
If you're replying to me, I wasn't asking you. I was making two statements in the form of questions with obvious answers.SweetLyrics wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 5:51 pmAsk Toby Young - as I have already said, I'm not his advocat!
