There she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses. Ezekiel 23:20 NIV
I'm sure I've seen wackier! :D

The most complex thing ever discovered in the universe - the human brain.

The development of humans is inexorably linked to the human brain and in particular, the capacity of humans (after signifcant mutation and evolution) to imagine. Imagination of possibility gives us everything from betangel to manned space flight. Of course, imagination also gives us everything in between, from virgins giving birth to supernatural beings to angels appearing to an illiterate desert warlord/ trader to all forms of mass hysteria and crowd madness where people fail to understand, process and make sense of the most basic of facts (eg. another excellent Quillette article - https://quillette.com/2021/01/16/rise-o ... us-cranks/)

Hence I suggest almost everyone spend a bit of time at https://www.philosophizethis.org/

Perhaps out of all of the wild madness we can each have a bit of introspection - how do I know what I know? how can I be sure of anything at all?

Amen to that

Things must be serious if Jeff and James have started rummaging through their bibles for quotes, or maybe divine intervention.

Why would we need to turn to the good lord for inspiration when we have you to inspire us?

Glad to see the stampy stampy feet moment didn't get in the way of your ego hunger.

'When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom.'
Proverbs 11:2

Maybe SB, being an all round polymath, can give us a few Bible quotes for inspiration.

I look forward to being graced by his pearls of wisdom.

I'm afraid it'll be as empty as "look at the big picture" no meaning, no context.... just a look at what I'm thinking, im the almighty one.

Anyway, I enjoyed the "here we go again" - same time tomorrow? I think none of us should take anything said seriously, it's become our forum time to have some fun chat and blow off some steam. We can't do this anywhere else without being censored. SB i might think you're a prick but I'm sure the feeling is mutual... virtually bickering is all we have left it seems. Sweet dreams to you all.

Don't hold back - tell us what you really think!

Seriously though, a lot can be lost in translation when you're communicating via a forum, and you and I might get on well with SB in person. It's quite possible that he's a really nice guy in real life. :)

If I posted what I think, it would be a reflection of private messages... what I wont do is impact somebody else in order to get one over on someone. SB values himself as a member of the forum but what he doesn't realise is he's largely disliked, by the people he thinks like him.

Post whatever you think James, no need to do all your bitching with Jeff on PM's.

Its not what I think sb, its what they think & I've said already I'm not going to air it. I've already said too much but at least I've let you know we think you're a joke in private.

If you're going to talk about someone, either do it to their face, or do it in private. It's quite childish to let somebody know that you or other people have been bitching about them in private.

Christ James a little harsh!

I don't know who the 'we' is but for the record I'm not one of them.

I don't think I've ever felt that strongly about anyone on the forum. Sure the lost cause conspiracy theorist nutjobs are a bit out there but even then I wouldn't have strong feelings one way or another about them. As far as I'm concerned its all just a bit of banter unless I'm told otherwise and I overstep the mark but I'm sure I'd be told by those I'm having the back and forth with.

I've always thought SB was one of the sane ones! :D
