Is there anything i can do when the market goes in play to stop my losses when something dramatic happens towards the end of the race i.e falling at the last etc?
My dilemma is this, i want to back a horse that looks like its going to win at short odds, i want to set a stop loss say if the horses price drifts say 10 ticks to make a small loss. Is there anyway i can do this with betangel? I have tried nearly every function to find a way to do this.
thanks.

The problem is in-play prices do not move in a smooth manner.

A horse that is trading at 1.1 for example and then falls will move in price directly to 1000 in the blink of an eye without visiting many of the prices in between.

So setting a stop of ten ticks will just not work as the trigger will never fire.

Unless you have access to 'live' images from the course and super-quick reactions there is not much you can do when your sure-fire bet trips up, falls over or dispenses with the jockey.

I agree, prices inplay are too wild to apply a stop loss.
