Hi
Is there a way of backing a horse just before off, if price shortens (as one would be hoping) lay, but also have a safety net if the horse doesn’t perform to get our? Will the right click option work as safety net?

Why not just do an offset bet or a DOB bet? In these cases you back your selection pre race with an offset bet at lower odds to be kept in play after the off. If the horse's odds shorten in-running your offset bet will be matched and you will have a profit even if the odds go back out, i.e it loses.

There are many examples of offset bet automation or DOBBING in the shared files section which you can download and use.

However I'd reccomend looking up Peter Webb's DOBBING and offset videos on Youtube which explain what you wish to do. Peter explains it in detail and shows you how to create the automation file yourself. Definately worth doing.
