this was ALL i could find out about this conspiracy based news feed: https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/uk-column/
I would rather listen to both sides and look at actual data to form an opinion than dismiss one side because a random website (which also says BBC and Sky have high accuracy and factual ratings) says so

All I see from the BBC is:

• Propaganda and never any mention of the extremely high survival rate, no mention that the average Covid death age is 84
• Zooming in and manipulating data (e.g. saying most deaths since WW2, reporting completely normal daily deaths without any context)
• No mention of the mass poverty, increased suicides, 10k undiagnosed and untreated kids with cancer in the UK + all the other bigger killers which are going untreated
• No mention of vaccine side effects
• Saying the NHS is under pressure but not showing that capacity has been shut down on purpose to create an illusion
• No mention of the complete disappearance of flu deaths since March 2020
• No mention of the innacuracy of testing kits which was even admitted by the WHO and manufacturer themselves
• Refusal to show the bigger picture e.g. never make comparisons to previous years or beyond the 5 year average
• No acknowledgement of Sweden's completely normal total deaths with minimal restrictions, no acknowledgement of Spain having thousands less deaths in 2020 than 2018 and 2019 (just trying to portray the opposite), no mention of the UK deaths in 2020 placing only 9th highest since the year 2000
• Complete censorship of UK lockdown protests

All the media ever does is show the extreme cases of covid, people in intensive care. No mention of the fact that the vast majority of people who catch the virus won't even suffer anything worse than a cold for a few days. No mention of the fact that here in the UK average 450 people die every day from cancer. No acknowlegement that there are normally about 1000 new daily cancer diagnoses. No clarification of deaths with covid or directly from covid as the actual cause of death. Oh and has been mentioned before by many there are normally several thousand flu deaths a year but no mention of that either or have we eradicated flu?

The current restrictions are going to cause so much damage to the economy, job losses, businesses going bust, homelessness and mental health problems that ultimately they will kill more people than they are trying to save.

Of course these deaths will just be absorbed into the regular annual statistics.

There was a lot of media coverage over the Manchester Arena bombing, went on for months. No mention of the fact that the vast majority of people at the concert were physically unharmed. ;)

Several thousand flu deaths has been overshadowed by 100,000 covid deaths.

The more you look into it, the less the saving lives narrative makes sense. The more the economic reset/control/sustainability agendas and theories make sense

I keep hearing the lockdown will kill more lives than it saves, but nobody's put forward the maths. It's mainly business and commercial people who say that, talking out of their pocket, while medical professionals often claim the opposite.

As much as I despise the current government, there's no doubt they are trying to find a balance by keeping what they can open.

I''ll leave you with a trading thought, as we know the real money doesn't lie ;)

If this virus is so deadly and truly is going to decimate the older half of the population, then why aren't life insurance companies going bankrupt?
Because if you have an insurance product and are already "old" the liability will be fully reserved.

Assurance companies constantly review their mortality assumptions and for most people these days the charges come directly off their funds, i.e. there is no gtee on mortality charges. For older products where there is a mortality gtee the life company in general will just make less profit than expected (it is small beer compared to charges / expenses)...
But this virus is apparently so deadly it's going to kill hundreds of thousands of excess people of all ages right? Normal UK total deaths is 500-600k per year so assuming this is so deadly it must be on trajectory to kill 1 million right?

My understanding of a life insurance company is that they assume people will live to a reasonably old age with some sort of margin (+invest the premiums to grow the company over time), if thousands of people start dying 10-30 years earlier than normal I would assume they would go bankrupt.

So how can life insurance companies which rely on people living longer be so unaffected by the potential of hundreds of thousands of excess deaths? Has everyone happily been paying 200% premiums this year? I doubt a company operating on a reasonable margin could deal with that kind of excess payout. No one is putting their money where there mouth is and shorting them in the stock market anyway

Congrats to him, not many make it past age 100

No disrespect to him but unfortunately I already see a darker side to this. Mainstream media has already taken advantage of this character/emotional journey as coronavirus propaganda by shouting about it being the headline reason he has passed on and making sure everyone knows that he didn't take the vaccine

Sad news for sure. Hope they give him a "state like" funeral.
