Leicester without Vardy, Spurs without Kane (Bale who?) are not the same teams. Lord help the Pool if we lose Salah....er.... and Mane.......er...... and Firmino. Please close the transfer window !!!!!!

Finally some deadline day excitement for Liverpool fans, recent transfer windows been boring AF. That's the price you pay when you always get it right :)

Scrambling hard to get another CB in, along with Ben Davies.

Excitement is pushing it. Glad we'll get a couple of bodies in but its a championship player whose contract was up in the summer and the Turkish Jamie Carragher (not his football skills but because he likes spitting on people), not exactly VVD and Suarez.

Club had to act after Matip so its sensible business, hope they do well. If I was religious I'd just be praying neither of them gets injured :)

Maybe I'm just excited because there's a chance they go for another Croatian, a good looking CB from Marseille ;)

Not too excited about the other two either, that fake Ben Davies fella is so cheap you or me could probably afford him :D

They try to be shrewd about it even when panic buying on deadline day, incredible. Quite the turnaround from all the panic buys of old like Mario Balotelli and Andy Carroll.

That's off because Marseille couldn't get a replacement in time that's why they've gone for Kabak. Apparently the poor lad was stranded in an airport somewhere! I don't understand what Schalke are getting out of this deal. Losing a 1st choice CB for a loan fee of €1m or so. They wanted a loan with an obligation to buy Liverpool are only offering a loan with an option to buy.

Yeah I'm glad those crazy days are gone, Liverpool Twitter land was going into meltdown people saying we should offer £50m for Conor Coady! The best I heard though was Tim Sherwood on Saturday saying with a straight face that Liverpool should force the hand of Leicester and offer £100m for Wesley Fofana!

Yeah but I don't care, there's always a chance :)

I already know we're going to end up with Mustafi in the end.

Mustafi is Kabak's replacement at Schalke... funny how things work out!

Just listening to Neil Lennon heartbroken that Davies is going to Liverpool as they almost had him in the bag.

"We almost had the deal done, but I suppose he's from that area and financially it would be more rewarding for him" Eh... might be something to do with the fact that's its Liverpool as well.... hmm Liverpool or Celtic, give me some time to think it over

I usually make a point of not watching transfer deadline day on Sky but I'm wondering how these reporters actually get paid for what they do! They announce some 'breaking' news by saying "We've just been told..." even though a journalist tweeted the same thing word for word 20 minutes earlier. They literally just follow journalists on Twitter and parrot what they say.

They couldn't break an egg!

Announcement soonish.

Been watching some clips of this budget Ben Davies bloke, didn't really know he existed before this. In my expert opinion he looks good value, he's young and English and only cost a few hundred quid. Could easily be another masterstroke from Michael Edwards.

And the Ozan Kabak loan deal with an option to buy later seems shrewd business as well. Spitting at an opponent seems to have cut his evaluation in half from €35m to €18m, so this now looks pretty good value.

So Liverpool have strengthened and saved all the Mbappe money for next summer!

I love how nobody commented on the match last evening, out of fear of getting banned :D

In many ways, Ralph has worked miracles to get us mid-table.
We have a very small squad, and unfortuntely the kids are nowhere near as good as days gone by

We posted a loss of £76 million last month, and Ralph admitted himself we are absolutely skint

I'll be amazed if he's still at Saints next season, as i'm expecting the summer transfer window to be devastating for us
