Hi All,
I'm in desperate need of help please, since the beginning of January I've been trying to work out how I can monitor the first three horses in the market for a sharpish move in or out of >=10ticks, I got something working that was if price moves in X seconds but It doesn't work as I need it too because of time constraint as it keeps missing the move as it always seems to fall into two timeframes. Does anyone have a snippet of code I could use / buy please as my Ruth is sick of me muttering on to my self in frustration!!!
Many thanks Greg
Excel Expert needed please or my wife's going to kill me !!!!!!
If no one answers directly on doing this with Excel you can do it very easily with Bet Angel built in automation tools, there are some ready-made examples you could start with then edit to your exact requirements like this one

Hi Dallas,
Thank you for your suggestion but Im not sure if im reading it right But Ive just had chance to check that out and it seems to only trigger after 120 seconds if price is 10 ticks lower? Ive managed a timed version like this in excel ( if the price moves X ticks in X seconds,1,0 ) but the problem is It keeps missing the move as it falls in to two timeframes or the move has happened and the price has moved back to less than 10 ticks so no trigger? Im really hoping of finding a way to monitor the price for a sharp move without the time constraints so if the move happens in 10 , 20 ,33 or 100 seconds id get a singal straight away, Is this possible please? Im happy to pay for your time .
Many thanks Greg

From what you've said you are just looking for a short sharp sudden move, therefore the longer time period doesn't matter, ie, you would just say if it suddenly drops 10ticks within 3secs
If not by including the longer time too it directly contradicts the first part, ie, looking for a sudden sharp move which could happen over a 10, 20 or 100 secs wouldn't be a sudden move - it would just a gentle shortening
