I am seeking a little bit of clarification as to how automatic binding of excel files with restricted refresh works.
I have an excel file with 3 sheets, two Bet Angel Sheets, the first for the WIN market and the second for the PLACE market of the same event, and a third which I use to input my selections for the day along with various rules/calculations to co-ordinate betting across the the two markets.
I have restricted refresh set and auto-bind and auto-clear bind ticked.
I make sure that the markets for each event appear in the same order in the Guardian list as the excel sheet order. i.e the sheet for the Win Market is first (named "Bet Angel Win"), and the one for the TBP market is second (named "Bet Angel Place") so I make sure that the win market fore an event appears 1st on the Guardian list and the TBP market for the event 2nd.
This all seems to work perfectly with the right market being bound to the right sheet.
However, there are still some questions in my mind as to what logic Bet Angel is using to get do this binding and I wonder if there are circumstances where my approach would fail. For example:
Does the logic work on a round robin basis for the entire guardian list and if this is the case would it mean that if I had a missing TBP market for and event, the binding would get out of sync and end up binding the wrong sheet / market combinations.
Or does it work on a round robin basis for the markets that fall within the restricted refresh window? In which case as long as there is only one event in that window, I would expect my approach to work regardless of missing TBP markets.
Or is there some more subtle and clever logic at work here that means it will work however I order the markets?

Thanks in anticipation
John
