Fat finger bot to the rescue (I don’t have one for races but I do for other events).

No internet for me until a technician comes out - cable connection down, after big storms last night I guess it’s water in the pits. Thank goodness for me everything runs of the vps. And I can just check in from time to time on the phone.

No chips left to trade the G1 but I wouldn't be able to watch it anyway because Sky's switched to Hong Kong!

I would say a modest week (for me but it’s all first world issues). From midnight on the 7th till now A$457 on the dogs and A$1605 on the horseys. So just over A$2k for the week thus far (after comms pre pc).

(Not saying my results are good or bad - they are so so for me).

How about you (not asking for anyone else’s actual result or seeking to compare - just asking out of politeness).

We have struggling infrastructure here on the north coast, too. Every downpour and electrical storm has me on edge, fearing that either the power or NBN will go down. And we have downpours and electrical storms every day. OTOH, it is paradise, so can't complain.

Newbot continues to outperform. 10% so far today over 10,000 bets. I havent changed it since it's introduction (apart from adding some extra edge bets), and as Jukebox says, you start with an idea, and then refine it, so I think there's probably some improvements in there. (It's literally running on every horse on every race at every venue with flat stakes (liabilities)) The good news is this one can scale at least 10x without blinking or changing anything.

OTOH, I lost today

10000 bets is quite a large sample to say it "keeps outperforming"?
why you think scaling times 10 wont impact the win rate, outright backing?

Yeah, it's outright backing. And I'm already in the market with another bot that's 20 times larger, but earning a much lower return (with less variance) so I know that I can scale newbot if I want, even if I have to scale the other one down.

Again, this is just a new test bot that has only been going for a couple of weeks. It has totally outperformed. It made $500 today and I would have expected it to make maybe $50. And the 10,000 bets sounds like a big number, but maybe 8000 of them are variations of the main strategy, plus or minus a tick or two.

Very impressive! I suppose it's mainly scalping, right?
