How long can it take Betfair to settle trades?
I have placed a few footy trades that won today but my balance is looking lower than when I started.
Still not used to this, I checked the 'My Bets' in my account and the footy bets are under 'Open'... Does this mean they have yet to be settled?.. It has been over an hour now.
Why taking so long. it is being handled by computer software so should really be pretty instant, or do they wait until the games are finished??... Because I cashed out in the first half.

Think something similar happened last week with delayed settlement of markets.
However, in this case, I think you have to wait for the match to finish, even if you’ve cashed out at half time. Unless you were betting in a half time market. Though not totally sure on that .
