Now that you mentioned it, I can't even remember the last time I heard even the faintest crackle of thunder here in the UK. I experienced a couple of horrendous all-night thunderstorms as a child that frightened me but I can't remember such a storm in the last twenty years.

Awsome bot Anbell
So interesting you say in response above, no it's not scalping, it's "bsp", so what method is BetfairStartPrice ? I am guessing since you mention 10,000 bets today, you're bot is a value better, placing&cancelling value bets on all horses...? So at say 10mins before the off, how do you know what "value" is then? My simplistic mind thinks well lets just repeatedly place bets 2 ticks from the current price fill&kill say 5 seconds, and if matched assume mean reversion to target 1 tick...? sort of sounds like scalping, but you say you are not scalping you're using strategy bsp, what does that mean?
Thanks

The language can get imprecise!

When I said I'm using BSP, I just meant that I'm not trading, just taking open positions at BSP. That's probably called having 'value' bets.

Terrible weather along the NSW and SEQ coast this weekend.

Gold Coast will almost certainly be off. I have very little hope for Rosehill. Goulburn is probably finished.

Hope that Quenbeyan, Mackay and Eagle Farm will be OK, but some chance that each may be abandoned.

Port Macquarie looks like no hope on Friday, and Sunshine Coast in some danger.

I've stopped trading Australia except for Saturdays but I'll be really gutted if my beloved Rosehill's off.

Looks like they are doing everything than can to get Rosehill up. Would be nothing short of a miracle consdering the rain (100mm last few days) and the forecast of up to another 100mm

I've always fancied retiring to Australia but I'm having second thoughts now. ;)

If they do call it off I hope they don't leave it to the last minute. Shorties in the group ones but the first three races look quite open.

Despite putting everything into Cheltenham this week, I was considering doing Rosehill tomorrow morning. Thankful to the community for pointing out the situation.

Forecast updated from heavy rain ☔️ to biblical proportions. Five group 1s and they might have to swim.

Is there any town on the Australian map that doesn't have a racecourse? ;)
