I did ok on the PSG - Benfica match but nothing impressive.
I didn't trade Liverpool - Braga as I had a appointment I couln't miss but it was a shocker! I have to bite my tongue! Braga is an european overperformer so far this season!
3 portuguese teams in this stage is a record so far. It gives me plenty of opportunities

Given my previous performance it's a no brainer - simply oppose my opinion.

Well, it's to oppose mt opinion
I can't have a fairly based opinion on the foreign teams, I'll just share some raw thoughts.
Benfica had a rough time last game but there were a few problems that should be solved now like Maxi Pereira's injury. I don't fancy Benfica's moment, the team has lost some confidence, but PSV isn't in great shape too.
I'll be expecting goals on this match, simply because dutch teams play a straight forward football and so do we and our defense is somewhat inconsistent.
My main focus will be on an upset, should this happen I'll be backing Benfica for a comeback, it's been common this season.
Porto rarely fails to deliver. I would notice that sometimes they take a long time to score but they are really hard to beat at home. They won the championship this weekend so the confidence levels must be soaring. I was surprised that this game is priced to have more goals then the previous match, I guess the market is taking into account the fact that the russian side usually comes up with good away results.
Braga's recent form is picking up and I really liked the way they are looking forward to this game, but I think they will be wanting to leave all the decisions to the home match. I won't be taking any participation on this match, but if I had, I'd be on the few goals scenario.
Good luck to you all.

I was just thinking that way you were just faster.
This surely helps the economy at least my home economy
Benfica played really well and although I wasn't expecting so much power I was lucky to get matched on the right side before the first goal. It's really important to follow a game and adapt to circunstances that you weren't expecting. I didn't like that the public were booing (can I say that?) Roberto, can't see how that helps his confidence.

points from europe league determinated the elimination of the 4th team in champions league for Italy in the year 2012-2013....If portugal will carry on that way Italy will soon have only 2 teams qualifying for the champions league...

Is that correct?enzabella2009 wrote:points from europe league determinated the elimination of the 4th team in champions league for Italy in the year 2012-2013....If portugal will carry on that way Italy will soon have only 2 teams qualifying for the champions league...![]()

I know UEFA calculate Champions League entrants on the basis of Champions League performances, but I didn't realise Europa League performances were also included

Despite the facts Italy is the most succesfull nation among Spain for the numbers of finals played and won, Germany tx to their performances in europe league and champions league will have 4 teams in the CL in the year 2012-2013. Uefa for some reasons will adjust points voiding the year 2006 points, therefore germany will may go ahead of spain as well. In that case Italy will take several years before they can claim 4 teams in the CL againLeTiss 4pm wrote:Is that correct?enzabella2009 wrote:points from europe league determinated the elimination of the 4th team in champions league for Italy in the year 2012-2013....If portugal will carry on that way Italy will soon have only 2 teams qualifying for the champions league...![]()
