Choosing country - UK, Sweden or the Netherlands

I spend some hours reading here in the forum today, but cannot find all answers for my open questions.

At first, I am resident in a country where betfair has removed it´s services a while ago and so I have to move to another country where the Betfair Exchange offers it´s services to open an acount there.

Here are my questions:

1) The Netherlands: is the use of the berfair exchange in the netherlands completely the same like using it in the UK? No limitations, no restrictions, no forbidden markets? Everything the same? And the use of Bet Angel is there also the same? And if someone knows this: what is the taxsituation in the netherlands with this kind of trading the betfair markets? Is it 0% like in the UK?

2) Sweden: I have heard there was an update at Bet Angel to use the swedish Exchange betfair.se ... but is it the same amount of options and markets like in the UK or is there less available? Is there less volume? Can someone explain me something about the use of Bet Angel and Betfair Exchange in Sweden? And also the taxsituation! 0% ??

3) And what about Luxemburg? Could I operate from there? Does someone know the taxation of sportsbetting there?

4) What about usind Betfair Exchange and Bet Angel on the Channel Islands? Does this work? Nobody at the Betfair Support could answer me this. Hello? I have to move, I need this answer before I rent a flat there and drive my car to this location. Haha.

Will be helpfulful if Betfair has anywhere a list of all countries to check this, but I couldn´t find something like this.

I can't answer all your questions but can say once you have a Betfair account you will be able to Bet Angel too.

I'm 99.9% there are no limitations in Sweden, yes they do have there own Betfair.se exchange but that feeds into the main Betfair.com exchange.
Unlike the Betfair.it and Betfair.es exchanges which are micro exchanges for residents of those countries only.

Thank you for now, very friendly, this will be fine if someone could explain me the situation in the netherlands in detail.

Because this is really urgent. If I decide all these options are nonsense and I have to move the the UK, then I have as EU-resident only two days left to find a flat and sign the rental agreement to get my "EU pre-settled status" in the UK ... because of the brexit.

Personally, I would speculate and reach out to another continent i.e the America's. Paddy Power Betfair [Flutter] are doing exactly this probing Columbia, Mexico, and I believe Brasilia.
Apart from Australia they have no footprint in Asia. And support for them in Europe is somewhat dwindling.

It is a great place to live with the weather and is close to US to go on vacation or have more of the western world.

I might be wrong but I don’t think you could move to the UK in 2 days. Unless you already know someone who you could stay with otherwise you would need to go through certain checks to rent/buy your own place to live etc.

That´s the reason why I need so urgent the information about using the Betfair Exchange via Bet Angel from the Netherlands. I have to make the decision if I try it in the netherlands - this will be moving within the EU and has time and could done the whole january, february or later - or I try it in the UK and then I have to hurry.

Coming in the UK will not be the problem, I have a negative Covid-Test with me and am arriving via Eurotunnel this evening or during the night. The problem is to find a landlord which rents me a room till tomorrow midnight to have the signature on the rental agreement in the old year to get the EU Pre-Settled-Status. If someone wants to rent a room, feel free ro contact me here. A small room with a bed will be o.k., if there is no bed I sleep on the floor, no problem either. But I need a room till tomorrow midnight. South of england preferred, but in that hurry - you can offer whatever you have and where you have it. One or two month period of tenency will be good, so I have then - after getting the signature in the old year - the time to look some weeks with more time and to view some nice apartments in the UK to make the final decision where to live, work and make money.

I pay 100 GBP BONUS now and, if we become friends, some beers after the pandemic, for someone who organizes me a room with a full rental agreement with signature of the landlord and everything till tomorrow midnight.

you will not be able to that, you need to have a declared address already and head straight for that declared address (no deviations), and lock down in that address immediately for 14 days.

Just to give an Update. Here I am, relocated as I said on Dec. 31 to the UK. After diffucult times with self isolation, renting a unheated room, problems to find an own flat and all these things, I started on Betfair yesterday night. Many thanks to everybody who helped with information, good wishes and everything. Let´s get started with a quote of german-swiss poem Hermann Hesse (1877-1962): "Und jedem Anfang wohnt ein Zauber inne." (And every beginning has a magic inside). Hope to discover and learn a lot of new things, let´s do it. Motivation is good, let´s go! Cheers!
