Amazingly, I've lost every single market today. Think it's time to call it a day there.

Unfortunately, no. This is technically my third Cheltenham, although back in 2019 I had only just started trading. I guess Cheltenham just doesn't fit my trading style. Can't seem to figure these type of markets out.Euler wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 3:42 pmFirst time at Cheltenham?Coffeenoir wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 3:41 pmAmazingly, I've lost every single market today. Same here, last race was first in the green today, the slow price movement is so unnerving.Coffeenoir wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 3:41 pmAmazingly, I've lost every single market today. Think it's time to call it a day there.

I totally agree there. Makes the markets very hard to read. From my perspective, as soon as a price moves a little in one direction, a massive stake (usually 9k) comes onto the ladder and stops it moving any further. Whenever I'm in an open trade I just feel confused about what the hell is going on lol Is it just me, or is the level of spoofing unreal in these markets?peachflame wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 4:02 pmSame here, last race was first in the green today, the slow price movement is so unnerving.Coffeenoir wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 3:41 pmAmazingly, I've lost every single market today. Just trying pinging some orders in and letting them fill. OK it's not scientific, but it will allow you to see the market a bit clearer and how it's bouncing around.plasteredric wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 4:06 pmany pointers for the next? cant decide what im looking at

Completely different type of trading plan/style required, educational to watch these markets though and gain for future reference.

Put an order in to back Saint Sam at 7.0 at the top of its traded range but bottled it and was also anticipating Busselton to see some backing but an email distracted me and I missed it.Euler wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 4:18 pmJust trying pinging some orders in and letting them fill. Patience definitely required, the price will often come back after it moves against you.Coffeenoir wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 4:08 pmI totally agree there. Makes the markets very hard to read. I always seem to have a headache at the end of the day when trading Cheltenham, watching the matched amounts like a hawk for hours on end/ bigger stakes no doubt is the cause. Any tips on relaxing a bit more?
