Cheltenham Festival 2021
well overall the big meetings will be easier to do well as percentage of casual players a lot higherShaunWhite wrote: ↑Thu Mar 18, 2021 4:10 pmNo not at all, just accept that trading Cheltenham might not be your thing unless you've got some experience. I'm sure you're not so naive that you'd think it would be any other way though, it's the FA cup of a billion pound industry not a sunday kick around.goat68 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 18, 2021 2:54 pmmmm, should I give up now then ?!ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Thu Mar 18, 2021 2:21 pm

Me too, automation had a good day at Hexam, plus bagged the first at Chelmsford at 11.20 ... keep telling some of the people I know about using exchanges but falls on deaf ears... normal s.p. was 5-1 ... even on punts your better off on the exchange.....
we’ve got a guy at work, we sarcastically nickname him “Top Punter”, he says the Betfair exchange site looks too complicatedMAGTRADEUK wrote: ↑Thu Mar 18, 2021 5:12 pmkeep telling some of the people I know about using exchanges
It's very much related to what you are doing and on what stakes.

today turned out to be a good learning experience for me, no real profit to speak of but seen some recurring behaviour in the markets
if I’m honest it turned out to be a case of limiting losses, (repeat to fade), until I caught a biggie at the death & even then I was in & out a few times on the fav /2nd fav in the last at Cheltenham, my first thoughts on the move were correct but kept scratching until I was confident to pull the trigger on backing the fav
