Stuff to watch
TBH i could see the locked thread going off subject. Probably contributed to that, for which I apologise.
But perhaps there is a need for a religious discussion thread. Or is this like a dinner party. Certain subjects are too inflammatory. Religion, politics, law and order, capital punishment etc? Personally, I'm very disappointed with betangel for locking that thread over a cartoon. It puts me in mind of Charlie Hebdo.
jimibt was making a fair point. If your faith is as resilient as you believe, it was water of a ducks back!

It's not, nickname I got multiple years ago from a friend. Stands for "One Dimensional Paul" due to having a perceived musical taste for only trance music and nothing else (which is a lie, I like all forms of excessively fast dance music plus synthwave and classical)

Mate of mine got the nickname Columbo on account of his inability to leave the house in a swift manner, forever going back for 'Just one more thing'.

A listen rather than a watch.
"I stole €1.75 million to fund my gambling addiction".....
Tony O’Reilly remembers the first bet he ever placed. It was 1998, and Tony was a 24-year-old living in Carlow, Ireland, when the nation was gripped by World Cup fever. He and a friend placed a £1 bet on the Netherlands v Argentina game. Why not, after all, it was only £1?
Yet this seemingly harmless act triggered such a severe addiction that, 12 years later, Tony would be financially ruined, reliant on theft, and on the run from the law.
