Don't ever cook a roast chicken dinner at 6 in the morning when you're pissed out of your brains!
Timing becomes impossible, chicken perfectly tender but forgot to season it, potatoes underdone, sprouts overdone, forgot the Yorkshire pudding, put it in at the last minute but forgot to take it out. It's now a heap of ash in the oven!
And then you go to bed on a full stomach!

Lmfao I'm hanging to death ouch I need to give up drinking one day
Some session that is Derek, 8pm to 6am... hats off, last time I managed something like that I was a teenager. Thank goodness I never attempted to cook a roast dinner in one of those states.Derek27 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 6:50 amDon't ever cook a roast chicken dinner at 6 in the morning when you're pissed out of your brains!

In my late twenties/early thirties, I'd have a 24-30 hour session over weekends. Not proud of it though, wouldn't like to go back there again.jamesg46 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 9:07 amSome session that is Derek, 8pm to 6am... hats off, last time I managed something like that I was a teenager. Bit like me that. Not a drinker really. Can go weeks without a drink, but get the tickle and thats it.Derek27 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 5:35 pmIn my late twenties/early thirties, I'd have a 24-30 hour session over weekends. Lightweight

In my early 20's I worked every weekend so we used to go out on a Sunday and come back on a Wednesday!
Some great times some great memories but like you I wouldn't want to go back to it! Don't think I'd be up to it now anyway!
I think StellaBot's lightyears ahead of us.Trader Pat wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 6:11 pm

I've been with the Mrs for coming on 20 years so even back in my early teens I had guidelines I had to adhere toDerek27 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 21, 2021 5:35 pmIn my late twenties/early thirties, I'd have a 24-30 hour session over weekends.
