Adding another layer to automation help.

Afternoon,

I'm new to Bet Angel and the automation side and was wondering if someone would be able to spare me a minute to help. I have downloaded the lay all field file and have been playing around with the settings.

I am trying to add another rule to the automation but appear to have hit a wall. I have set it so all the horses are layed if they reach 2.0. However, I would then like Bet Angel to automatically place a back bet once a horse has met the lay criteria.

If someone could point me in the right direction then that would be appreciated. I've tried to find the answer in the forum but so far the answer has alluded me.

Am i right in thinking you're trying to put a lay bet in for every horse at 2.0, then if any of those horses are matched, you put in a back bet (on that selection only) at a bigger price?

Hey Shaun, Yes that what I've been trying to do.

Ok. I haven’t seen the automation file in question but there are 2 options:
1. Make the lay bet an offset (or offset by ticks/%/offset with greening)
2. Insert a new row saying place back bet on any selection at price X with a condition that “matched bets on the selection = 1”

Be careful with option 2 if you do any other trading as any matched bet will then satisfy the condition for the back bet to then be placed.

Have a go and load it up here and I’ll happily take a look. Have a go yourself first
