Dutching Calculator and previous bets

Hi Guys

Another newbie here with another newbie question

I have backed Simon Dyson in the golf at 50/1 but placed the bet manually in Betfair OUTSIDE of Bet Angel. I am now trying to use the dutching facility to back the other leading contenders but Bet Angel appears to be ignoring my existing bet on Dyson

Am I reading this correctly or not? Is there something I am not doing or should be doing? Or can I resolve the problem by mentally deducting the total stake shwon in the dutching calculator from my potential Dyson winnings?

Bet Angel will show bets placed by other means. It may be an 'Australian' market and therefore you would need to log in with the Australian wallet.

Thank you Peter. It shows the bet in the P&L but doesn't appear to be taking it into account when calculating stakes

OK, that gets a bit more compilicated. It may be better to close the existing position by using manual greening and then starting a new dutching bet.

So does that mean it is not the ideal tool for backing then, at some future time, dutching?

It doesn't take account of existing positions unfortunately, but you could use the 'stake to a profit target of' function to account for the existing position. I guess this could be a feature request?

Thnaks for your help. I wish I had thought to resolve it before Dyson dumped it in the water but there you go
